Pre-menstrual problems
Many women can notice changes in how they feel before their period. For most women these changes are small and don’t cause too much of a problem. In PMS these changes are noticeable to the person and those around them. They have a big impact on the persons’ life. It may cause problems at work and in relationships
In PMS, changes start about one week before your period is due and end around 3-4 days after your period has finished. These changes don’t occur at any other times.
There are changes in how the person feels. They may notice feeling more short-tempered, more anxious and tense, or low. They may see changes in sleep and how much they eat. Physical changes can include weight gain, swelling of feet, hands and breasts and they may feel bloated.
